Amolatar NRM office releases joint campaign schedules: MP Dubai threatens Hot FM

The NRM party office in Amolatar and aspirants have agreed to work as a unified team during the campaigns ahead of primary elections.

In a gathering that included all duly nominated NRM party candidates ranging from district councillors to MPs on July 1, 2025, a strategic roadmap for their campaigns was established.

For the woman Member of Parliament and district chairperson, they will be campaigning together across all 16 sub-counties.

Their campaigns schedules indicate that they will commence on Sunday, July 6, 2025, starting with Acii sub-county in the morning, followed by Etam town council in the afternoon.

On July 7, they will be in Namasale town council in the morning and Namasale sub-county in the afternoon.

On July 8, they will campaign in Etam sub-county in the morning and Awelo sub-county in the afternoon.

On July 9, they will be in Muntu sub-county in the morning and Agikdak sub-county in the afternoon.

On July 10, they will campaign in Nalubwoyo sub-county in the morning and Amolatar town council in the afternoon.

On July 11, they will be in Aputi sub-county in the morning and Opali sub-county in the afternoon.

On July 12, they will campaign in Agwingingiri in the morning and Akwon sub-county in the afternoon.

Finally, on July 13, they will be in Abeja sub-county in the morning and Arwotcheck in the afternoon.

For Kyoga County, campaigns will begin on July 5, Saturday, starting with Acii sub-county, followed by Namasale town council. On July 7, they head to Agwingiri sub-county.

On July 8, they will be in Amolatar town council and on July 9, Nalubwoyo sub-county. The candidates will head to Muntu sub-county on July 10, and on July 11, and conclude in Namasale sub-county on July 14.

In Kyoga North, campaigns will kick off on July 6, Sunday, starting from Aputi sub-county, followed by Opali sub-county on July 7, Akwon sub-county on July 8.

Agikdak sub-county on July 9, Etam town council on July 10, Arwotcek sub-county on July 11, Abeja sub-county on July 12, Awelo sub-county on July 13, and Etam sub-county on July 14.

While addressing the NRM candidates, the Administrative Secretary of NRM, Pule Boniface, urged candidates to adhere to the NRM party guidelines, warning that failure to do so would result in the withdrawal of their candidacy.

He urged the NRM sub-county chairpersons to extend a warm welcome to the candidates who will be campaigning in their respective sub-counties.

Following the meeting, Col. John Francis Ongia, a candidate for Kyoga County, expressed his support for the roadmap and said he would advocate for peaceful campaigns.

He also encouraged the electorate to love themselves and select a leader of their preference.

Additionally, Felix Adupa Ongwech, another candidate for Kyoga County, stated that he is in agreement with the schedules, urging voters to pay attention to the best manifesto and make their choice.

Meanwhile, Odongo Isaac Ekuu, a candidate for Kyoga North, expressed gratitude towards the NRM leadership, affirming his readiness to conduct a peaceful campaign.

Furthermore, Moris Ogwal Omara, a candidate for LC5 Amolatar, mentioned that they will engage in politics that fosters unity and love.

Awio Mike, a candidate from Muntu sub-county for the district council, commended the NRM leadership for this commendable initiative.

On the other hand, the DPC of Amolatar, SP John Mafabi, stated that police are prepared to ensure that peaceful campaigning and elections are conducted.

DISO of Amolatar has cautioned against identity politics, religious manipulation, and blackmail, warning of potential attacks.

However, James Olobo Dubai promised to storm Hot FM and destroy property if they start updating people on the issues of elections.
