King James Comprehensive School led in the first half before conceding a goal in the second half of the USSSA games.
Light Vocational SS launched a spectacular counterattack in a match played at Erute playground.
It finished 1-1 at full time. King James eventually won the penalty shootout 5:4 and advanced to the semi-finals.
In other quarterfinal matches, Mentor SS advanced to the semi-finals by defeating Faith SS 1-0.
Desmond Odur scored the sole goal. The spectators had a thrilling time watching the match.
Dr Obote College also advanced to the semi-finals, defeating Tasha SS 4-0 in a game held at Anai playground.
Lira Town College, on the other hand, advanced to the semi-finals after a narrow 1-0 victory over Lira City Comprehensive.
Semifinals are scheduled to begin on Monday afternoon at Uganda Technical College (UTC Lira).
