Kampala International University (KIU) has introduced a strict dress code on its campus, banning miniskirts, sagging trousers, torn clothes, Crocs and bathroom slippers as part of measures to regulate how students and staff dress within the institution.

The new rules require members of the university community to observe the approved standards of dressing while accessing campus facilities. The restrictions are intended to ensure that students and staff maintain an appearance considered appropriate for an academic environment.

Under the reported guidelines, students and staff wearing miniskirts, sagging trousers or torn clothes may be denied access to the university premises. The rules also reportedly prohibit Crocs and bathroom slippers, which the institution considers unsuitable for campus wear.
