WDO appoints Amb. Okello Augustine Kezzy resident diplomat and rep., for Uganda

London, United Kingdom | The World Diplomatic Organization (WDO), an international non-profit organization headquartered in the United Kingdom, has officially appointed H.E. Ambassador Okello Augustine Kezzy as its Resident Diplomat and Country Representative for Uganda.

Ambassador Okello will have an additional mandate as Special Envoy on African Youth Empowerment and Innovation.

Ambassador Okello Augustine Kezzy is currently the Global Goodwill Ambassador – Humanitarian (Uganda) under the Global Goodwill Ambassador Foundation.

In executing his roles, he has demonstrated outstanding commitment to humanitarian service, peacebuilding, youth development, and community empowerment.

His appointment by WDO reflects confidence in his leadership, integrity, and ability to advance humanitarian diplomacy in Uganda and across Africa.

As a non-profit international organization, WDO’s primary mission is to promote humanitarian services, peace, and global goodwill, while fostering international cooperation through inclusive and people-centered diplomacy.

Through this appointment, WDO strengthens its operational and diplomatic presence in Uganda and reaffirms its commitment to Africa’s development agenda.

In his role, the Ambassador will represent WDO’s mission in Uganda, strengthen partnerships with government institutions, diplomatic missions, and civil society, and facilitate collaboration between WDO headquarters in the UK and stakeholders in Uganda.

As Special Envoy on African Youth Empowerment and Innovation, he championed youth inclusion, innovation, entrepreneurship, and leadership as key drivers of sustainable peace and development.

This appointment also enhances diplomatic relations between WDO, Uganda, and the United Kingdom, reinforcing humanitarian diplomacy, people-to-people engagement, and international cooperation rooted in shared global values.

WDO believes that empowering youth through innovation and leadership is essential to achieving lasting peace and global goodwill, and this appointment places young people at the center of its diplomatic and humanitarian efforts in Africa.
