Jane Frances Acilo, an aspirant for Oyam district woman MP, and her team are currently active in Oyam’s various sub-counties.
Acilo and her team intend to distribute 15,000 kilograms of maize seeds to farmers in the sixteen (16) sub-counties.
“As a farmer myself, I understand the significance of this moment. Good harvests begin with quality seeds,” she said while distributing maize seeds in Bario, Abok sub-county, on March 29.
She added: “This is just the beginning; we are committed to investing in sustainable agriculture and empowering farmers to grow beyond mere subsistence.”
Speaking with farmers, Jane Acilo added, “Our goals are to support farmers with better seeds and training; ensure that farming is profitable and sustainable.”
She is committed to assisting more farmers in making the transition to large-scale agriculture.
On Saturday, dozens of maize seed recipients in Abok sub-county said “Oyee Oyee” as they lifted packets higher in show of support for Jane Acilo’s continued generosity.

Aber, Loro, Myene; Kamdini, Minakulu sub-counties and town councils farmers are all lined up to be supported.
