Pajule Lions FC, a Regional League (RG) team, has unveiled two new esteemed coaches as the club prepares to begin the new 2024/25 season.
Opige Sunday, also known as Toxic, will be the Head Coach, with Francis Obemu serving as his assistant. Both were unveiled in the evening of Tuesday, September 24, 2024.
Toxic moves to Pajule from Gulu City Council FC. He had briefly worked with the technical team of Northern Gateway SC, a Lira-based club.
He was looking to join Northern Gateway near the end of last season.
However, his desire to join the Club came to an end prematurely.
Last season, Pajule finished first on the Elephant’s log before losing to Northern Gateway in the playoffs.
Both coaches signed one-year contracts with the “Lions.”

Opige believes that the team’s young and talented players will have a positive impact on the club this season.
Meanwhile, Obemu reiterated his ambitions and confidence, stating that they will provide Pajule Lions FC with in-depth coaching knowledge and options going forward.
He spent more than two seasons at Northern Gateway SC, including last season when the Gateway won the Northern Regional League (NRL) before being denied promotion to the Big League in a home-and-away play off by Paidah Blacks Angles.
