On April 3, 2025, Blacks Power FC defeated Karu Kalungi 4-1 in a FUFA Big League match played at UTC Lira, with several players delivering standout performances.
Okello Isaac scored the first goal from a corner kick, setting the tone for the rest of the match.
Backer Buyala demonstrated his abilities by scoring his first goal for Blacks Power FC in only two games.
Omara Joshua scored the third goal just two minutes into the second half and assisted Maduka Innocent’s fourth goal.
The fourth goal exemplified his influence on the team.
This win follows their previous 1-0 victory over Kataka FC, in which Andrea Ogwal scored the winning goal.
With 37 points from 18 matches, Blacks Power FC sits top in the league standings followed by Buhimba Saints United.
Blacks Power is scheduled to play two matches. On April 13, they will travel to Kabale to face Kigezi Home Boys.
On April 20, they host Kayinda FC at home (UTC Lira).
Their performance in these matches will be critical in determining their standing on the table and promotion to the Uganda Premier League.
