Entebbe, Jinja, and Kampala host the first Luo music experience

Kampala| It is just another time of year when you choose to close your eyes and only open them when you are standing next to or watching your favourite musical stars perform live for you, which you have long admired on television.

The inaugural #LuoMusicExperience will feature a diverse range of cool, classic, elegant, and exhilarating Luo music performed by singers Jenneth Prischa, Tam Noffy, Sam Sammy, and Kemboy Mulili.

Others include the Luo Legacy Dance Troupe and Roo Ya Simba, Busoga’s finest for the Jinja crowd.

If this is something you have been hoping for, the #LuoMusicExperience will make it happen for you. It is important to note that being Luo is not required to attend these shows.

We would be happy to welcome you as we celebrate everything Luo if you are a lover of cultures, have a Luo friend, or are married to a Luo man or woman.

“LuoMusicExperience is simply providing a platform for physical reach and presence to these untapped populations, while also fostering a healthy and prosperous art industry up north,” said Pat Robert Larubi, a freelance travel and lifestyle journalist.

Larubi, a show host and video news editor for WanLuo TV, is the mastermind behind the Luo Music Experience.

As much as Kampala, Entebbe, and Jinja have a large population of Luo-speaking people, it is easy to feel homesick and lonely, but the Luo Music Experience show will rekindle the network’s power and spirit, and you will never be the same again.

On August 24, 2024, the live show will be at Amoo Car Wash, which is next to Stabex Namuwongo, in Kampala. On September 6, the team will relocate to Entebbe and be at the Red Roosters Sports Bar.

The final performance will take place on September 7, 2024, at Savers Club Bugembe in Jinja.

Luo Music Experience is all about empowering minds, fostering passion, and networking.

It is all about Luos helping Luo people reconnect with their roots – a true celebration of Luo heritage.
