Kampala I Forum for Democratic Change (FDC) party has sacked the Kiira Municipality MP, Ibrahim Ssemujju Nganda as its party whip in Parliament.

Nganda’s sacking has come as a shock to many – although it was highly expected to happen. Also the FDC party spokesperson, Nganda is among those calling for a change in FDC leadership.

Alongside founding president Dr Kizza Besigye, Erias Lukwago, Doreen Nyanjura, Francis Mwijukye and others, the Katonga-based faction accuse Nandala and Patrick Oboi Amuriat of receiving ‘dirty money’ from the ruling party ahead of 2021 genera elections.

Oboi and Nandala denied ever receiving any money from anybody in NRM even after Besigye said so.
