The deputy CDF of the UPDF commended Lt Gen Otema for his 47 years of service to the country, describing his career as a demonstration of sacrifice and dedication.
Lt Gen Okiding was joined at the Ethiopia Air Force headquarters by members of Gen Kainerugaba’s delegation.
This statement is consistent with Okiding’s boss, CDF Gen. Muhoozi Kainerugabe, who has issued many political statements in recent years.

Lt Gen Okiding handed over ATMIS office on Monday, April 1 and is expected in Uganda to assume Deputy CDF role.
