UPC to deliver disciplinary ruling on Enap Adim, Chris Ongom and others today

Uganda Peoples Congress (UPC) will convene a Special Conference on September 17 at its headquarters in Kampala.

The conference is to be addressed by the UPC National Disciplinary Committee (NDC) following weeks of disciplinary proceedings against some of its members and leaders.

The committee will deliver its disciplinary rulings on Denis Enap Adim, Jack Khabusi; Magero Emmanuel Were and Aisha Naome Natukunda.

Others are Babirye Josephine, Chris Ongom, Alex Ogwal Adyebo; Suzan Achola and Ewal George.

The above UPC members were dragged before the NDC for among other reasons, trying to impose themselves as legitimate leaders of UPC under Adim Enap; engaging in unauthorised political meetings with some organisations.

They have specifically been accused of violating the UPC Constitution.
