The office of the Deputy Resident District Commissioner of Amolatar has highlighted significant issues affecting development in Amolatar.
In the letter dated March 2, 2026, Obonyo Magwar said that addressing these matters will enhance the quality of life.
He identified, among other things, the need for sensitisation support through clan structures to elevate the apparently low interest in education.
Furthermore, he stated that clan structures should facilitate the expansion of affirmative government programs, such as women’s empowerment, enabling them to actively participate in efforts to alleviate various domestic issues.
The deputy RDC also mentioned the necessity for clans to endorse intentional healthcare programs, including effective family planning.
Obonyo added that cultural practices should incorporate women into government campaigns aimed at value addition for wealth creation.
Additionally, he suggested that families should be encouraged to plant more trees to counter the adverse effects of climate change.
