Three more people who were rushed to Amolatar HCIV in critical condition have passed on, tndNews can confirm.
By 8:40pm on Friday, the death toll had risen to 11.
The unfortunate incident occurred at Ochora landing site on Lake Kyoga on Friday when a boat overloaded with over thirty passengers reportedly struck a submerged log in Lake Kyoga leading to the tragic accident.
Seven bodies were retrieved from the waters when the boat carrying them for a burial in Kiryanga capsized.
