Monikare Benedict Koma, a young boy with an extraordinary drive, shone brightly in last year’s Primary Leaving Examinations (PLE), achieving an impressive 7 aggregates.
Benedict excelled in his PLE at Munwanya Preparatory School in Kabojja, earning distinction 2 in English, distinction 1 in Science, and distinction 2 in both Social Studies and Mathematics.
Benedict, who is preparing to enroll at Namilyango College, attributes his success to a combination of determination, punctuality, respect, a prayerful life, and an active classroom presence.
Despite growing up in a rural area with significant challenges, including poor road conditions, Benedict’s perseverance and positive mindset enabled him to defy the odds and emerge as a top performer.
Having witnessed firsthand the difficulties caused by inadequate infrastructure in his village in Adjumani district, Benedict dreams of becoming a civil engineer.
The young boy aspires to improve the road conditions in his community and bring transformative change to the lives of those around him.
His mother, Grace Awuzu Koma, expressed immense pride in her son’s accomplishments. “I am so happy for Benedict, and I will do everything it takes to ensure he achieves his dream career,” she said.
Benedict’s story exemplifies the power of hard work and resilience, demonstrating that even the most humble beginnings can lead to remarkable success.
