Buyaga East MP hopeful, Dr Kisembo donates to best PLE pupils

Kagadi – More than ten sub-counties in Kagadi district – Bunyoro sub-region all benefited from a donation of scholastic materials last week.

Dr Diini Emmanuel Kisembo – who’s aspiring to be the next Member of Parliament for Buyaga East Constituency in 2021 elections, serving till 2026, gave out the donation last month.

The donation, consisting of mattresses and cases [boxes] were given to two best Primary Leaving Examination [PLE] pupils per sub-county who sat 2019 exams.

According to Mr Kisembo, the contribution was part of his plan way back in 2019 when locals in the constituency and district as a whole asked him to contest as their area MP.

“Education is one big sector I’m interested to invest in. The small contribution I have made will see a bigger one following,” he said.

Mr Kisembo who’s also vying for the position of NRM Vice chairperson for Western region to replace Maj Gen Matayo Kyaligonza – Uganda’s current ambassador to Burundi, added he considered donating to pupils from the entire district because once elected a regional NRM vice chairperson, his works will not stop in Buyaga East.

Some of the pupils who received boxes and mattresses are, Tumukunde Vincent who got aggregate 11, Natulinda Joan who got 12 from Muhindo Muslim P/S in Muhindo town council, among others.
