Lira | The first WordCamp 2024 for northern Uganda is currently taking place at Lira Town College in Lira City, where technology experts, digital journalists, and students have gathered.
The WordCamp event, themed ‘Empowering Digital Creativity’, highlights the importance of WordPress, a content management system (CMS) for websites.
Speakers will share in-depth knowledge with the audience on topics such as creating local digital content, empowering youth innovation, introduction to web technology, WordPress SEO, and using WordPress for mentorship and activism, among others.
