To understand the gaming industry in Africa, the African video game industry is projected to reach $1 billion in revenue in 2024, up from the record breaking $862 million in 2022.
The goal is to move from consuming Gaming to growing Africans as Gaming developers, graphic designers, gaming music development, environment creation and other areas that make Gaming successful.
Global trends flux because of the history of gaming that was established years in the making, a new element for Africa.
The African Gaming industry set to reach $1 billion in 2024, should provide new life to Gaming companies that have seen declines globally. African communities must collaborate to tap into the millions of dollars that are available as creators, developers, programmers and coders.
