The town clerk of the Lira City Council has passed away.
Theophilus Tibihika died instantly on Monday morning in a car crash.
According to Voice of Lango FM, he died in Akalo, Kole district, on the Lira-Apac road.
“The Mayor of Lira City Sam Atul says Tibihika died on the spot after his vehicle overturned,” Voice of Lango FM reported a short while ago.
This is the second fatal road crash in Lango in three days.
On Saturday, three people, two of them children died on spot in Abutadi, along Dokolo-Soroti highway.
