Dokolo | There were moments of excitement on Monday as the UPC campaign trail led by the party president entered Adeknino sub-county and Kangai Town Council.
Akena and his team were mobilising support for candidate Aguti Sarah Nyangkori for Dokolo district woman MP by-election.
On the trail was Secretary General Fred Ebil, UPC Whip in Parliament and Oyam district woman MP Santa Alum, Oyam North MP Dr Eunice Otuko Apio.
Others were party national treasurer and Maruzi MP Maxwell Akora, Apac Municipality MP Ocan Patrick, Maruzi North MP Nelson Okello Lemba; Kole South MP Ocen Peter.
Also were Lira City West Division MP Vincent Ebong, Alebtong LC5 Chairman David Kennedy Odongo, Amolatar District LC5 Chairman Ocen Geoffrey and local government leaders.
UPC Regional Vice Chairperson for Lango Chris Ongom, Party district Chairpersons Suzan Achola (Apac), and Ogwang Medmac (Amolatar), among other members were present.
On Tuesday, the above team of personnel will be in Bata and Agwata sub-counties, according to the party’s head of media and communications, Faizo Muzeyi.
