Hon. Cecilia Ogwal: burial for Jan. 27

Lira | The official funeral programme of the late Dokolo district Woman Member of Parliament Cecilia Atim Ogwal who died on Thursday, Jan. 18 from India is out. 

Widely known in Lango as “Atat Cissy”, the senior politician and lawmaker died aged 77.

She has been eulogised in and outside Lango as a “champion of democracy, advocate of girls and women’s rights”,  among other praises.
