Amolatar district local government is yet to make a statement following the death of its CFO.
Amolatar – August 8, 2022: Amolatar district local government is mourning. The district has lost its Chief Finance Officer [CFO], Solomon Okello who died on Monday, August 8.
The deceased is getting touching eulogies by residents, the majority praying for his soul to Rest In Peace.
Kyoga County MP, Okot Moses Junior Bitek has joined the Ministry of Local Government in mourning the CFO.
“Mzee Solomon Okello Ogwal Fare thee well. For we the students, biological, extended, dependents are saddened by your untimely death. You were a father, workaholic, and disciplinarian for we are very proud of you, never the less your legacy is louder than I can imagine. Rest in Peace Daddy,” MP Okot posted on a WhatsApp group.
Earlier, via Twitter, the ministry wrote: “So sad, and may his soul rest in perfect peace.”
The deceased served as the bursar of Aputi senior secondary school in Amolatar before Amolatar hired him.
Okello died at Mulago Heart Institute Monday afternoon where he was undergoing medical treatment for the last two weeks.
