Lira – August 8, 2022: In Lira City, President Museveni’s representative has equated the former bush war commander to “God the father”.
The Resident City Commissioner [RCC] Egole Lawrence, has also likened Museveni’s son, Lt. General Muhoozi Kainerugaba to “God the son”.
According to Egole, “God the Holy spirit” is “Us”, adding that they “are working together to preach the gospel of security, PDM in Lango sub-region, take it up until it is spread”.
The RCC was quoted by the Voice of Lango radio during a function he attended and was organized to popularize the “Muhoozi project” in the city and across Lango sub-region.
Egole’s ‘holy utterance’ on Saturday was the first of its kind since he was appointed by Museveni as RDC and RCC. It [his links] has received mixed reactions.

“…the Christians of Lango and Uganda should condemn and protest the devilishness madness of using God’s name in shithol politics of a family dynasty,” Otto added.
“Lawrence is a Christian and a humble man. I do not think he needed to say that,” his close friend told TND News, Monday.
Meanwhile, the Otuke Resident District Commissioner [RDC] Gillian Akullu who recently made headlines after rice plantations were slashed under her watch said devils have surrounded us.
“We have been surrounded by the devils, they even can’t provide solutions to the suffering Ugandans therefore, let us remain on the bus,” as reported by Voice of Lango radio.
TND News attempted to get clarification from her, to know who the devils are and where they live, the RDC was unavailable.
