NUP tells IPOD they’re not ready to join, have cup of tea

Kampala – 9, September 2021: The National Unity Platform (NUP) party has written to the Inter Party Organization for Dialogue (IPOD) expression concerns and why they can’t be part of the organization.

NUP is a party run by former presidential candidate, Robert Kyagulayi Ssentamu aka Bobi Wine. Bobi is the former Kyandondo East MP.

In a letter to the Executive Secretary of IPOD dated 2, September 2021, David Lewis, NUP’s Secretary General said they have taken time to study the discussions that have taken place in IPOD overtime.

“In our assessment, the regime has turned it into a forum in whi8 party principals meet for a cup of tea, followed by a photo opportunity… ”
