Bishop Ben Nabugodi, a prominent pastor in Mbale town has challenged fellow pastors in the country against covering up colleagues with bad characters.

Speaking to TND News, Nabugodi said pastors should work hand in hand to fight fake religious pastors that put their calling to doubt.

Nabugodi expressed concern over how the conduct of pastors is alarming saying that most people are going to school to be trained into pastor ship yet it’s a calling that comes from the Almighty God.

“ Some pastors are not supposed be called pastors because most of them are setting up churches for personal gains- financially and as way of making names awaiting for the 2021 elections,” Nabugodi said.

Nabugodi’s comments come a week now following the incident of the born-again pastor and three others arrested over the murder of a 19-year-old girl identified as Brinah Nalule who was kidnapped from Kampala Old Taxi Park last Sunday night.
