Bugisu Regional Khadhi Muslims Sheik Issa Ahmed Masaba has said the holy month of Ramadhan starts tomorrow worldwide.
The month of Ramathan marks the fasting season for Muslims for a period of one month. The period of fasting is also commemoration of the first revelation of Quran to Muhammad.
In his message for the period, Masaba who was speaking to our reporter at his office on Bilal Mosque within Mbale town said that the fasting season would take 29 days.
He asked Muslims to be on the lookout for the moon and alert others to commence the fasting season.
Masaba has asked Muslims to use this month of fasting to reflect on their actions and seek for guidance to cause change in their lives.
