Pastor Robert Kayanja, the lead pastor of Miracle Centre Cathedral, has spoken out about the ongoing court case involving allegations of homosexuality, expressing frustration over the situation and the people he says have turned against him.

In his remarks, Kayanja said he had helped some of the individuals involved when they were struggling and had given them opportunities to improve their lives. He claimed that he was surprised when the same people later became involved in a case against him.

“I picked them from the streets and employed them in Karamoja, but surprisingly, they turned against me,” Kayanja said, describing what he views as a painful turn of events.

The pastor also sought to clarify his position regarding the legal proceedings, saying that he was the one who took the individuals to court, despite what he believes many people understand about how the case began.

Kayanja further alleged that some of his critics, including fellow pastor Jackson Ssenyonga, were paying the legal fees of those involved in the case. However, this claim remains an allegation attributed to Kayanja and should not be treated as established fact without independent confirmation.

Despite the dispute, the Miracle Centre leader expressed confidence that he would overcome the challenges facing him. He invoked his faith, saying that God would ultimately vindicate him and shame those he believes are working against him.
