Ugandan musician and political figure Full Figure has spoken out in defence of State Minister of Local Government, Justine Nameere, urging those attacking her to consider her personal circumstances before making further accusations or engaging in actions against her.
In her message, Full Figure appealed to people to look beyond political disagreements and recognise Nameere as a human being with family responsibilities and personal struggles.
She stressed that Nameere is someone’s child, a woman facing challenges, a mother and the daughter of a former minister.
“I want to tell you this: Before you do anything, see Hon. Nameere as a child, a struggling woman, a mother and a former minister’s daughter,” Full Figure said, appealing for restraint from those targeting the legislator.
Full Figure also reminded Nameere’s critics that they, too, have children and families. She suggested that considering how they would want their own loved ones treated could encourage them to show more understanding and avoid actions that could cause further distress.

Her comments came with a strong criticism of the situation in Masaka City, where she claimed the atmosphere had become unbearable.
“You have turned Masaka City into hell on earth!” she declared, expressing concern about the circumstances surrounding the controversy.
The remarks have drawn attention to the treatment of women involved in public affairs, particularly when political disagreements become personal.
Full Figure’s message focused on the need to separate criticism of someone’s actions from attacks that could affect their dignity and family life.
Nameere’s situation has become a subject of discussion, with Full Figure using her platform to call for a more considerate approach from those involved. However, the full circumstances behind the dispute and the specific actions being criticised were not detailed in the statement provided.
Full Figure’s appeal ultimately centred on compassion, restraint and respect, urging those involved to remember the human being behind the public figure.
She called on Nameere’s critics to reflect on their own families before acting, as debate continues over the situation in Masaka City.
