Singer Princess Amirah has responded to King Saha’s public attacks on her husband, Minister Haruna Kasolo, saying the politician was not bothered by the singer’s remarks.

Amirah made the comments during a recent interview with YouTuber Ibrah, where she was asked about the confrontation between King Saha and Kasolo that attracted public attention months ago.

King Saha reportedly accused Kasolo of sabotaging his concert in Kyotera District, claiming that the alleged interference caused him significant financial losses. The singer expressed his anger publicly during his performance at Kazibwe Kapo’s concert, directing strong words at the minister.

Amirah, who was present during the incident, said her husband had experienced worse criticism in the past and was therefore not deeply affected by Saha’s remarks.

“What happened was just a tiny piece of what he has gone through. He was not even affected any single bit. You have no reason giving time to irrelevant issues,” she said.

She added that Kasolo had faced insults from different people over time, explaining that Saha’s main difference was that he had turned his criticism into a song. According to Amirah, her husband was already accustomed to public criticism.

The singer also dismissed suggestions that she was angry with King Saha over his confrontation with her husband. She described Saha as her brother, saying they come from the same clan and that she appreciates his music.

“Saha can continue doing what he wants. I have no reason to stop him. He sang his song to make money and he should go ahead and earn the money,” Amirah said, adding that she was not involved in the disagreement between the two men. Amirah maintained that she would not respond every time someone criticised her husband, insisting that the dispute was between Kasolo and King Saha. She and Kasolo have been together for some time, and she previously revealed that they held a private Islamic wedding, known as a Nikkah, which they chose not to publicise because of privacy concerns.
