Security warns against indiscipline ahead of Kitara-Mogadishu City CAF game in Hoima

The Albertine regional police leadership has warned members of the public against unlawful conduct that will lead to arrest during the CAF match today at Hoima City Stadium.

The Albertine Regional Police PRO made the security warning, SP Julius Allan Hakiza, during the pre-match between Kitara FC and Mogadishu City on September 6.

Hakiza, in his communication, warned public soccer fans against hooliganism, including theft from the stadium, an act which he said would lead to security arrest.

“We want to see that there’s enough discipline among all fans during match day. We do not want people with long hands to come, steal and destroy the facility, and also cause fights that can lead to security arrests,” he emphasised.

The Sunday CAF game marks the first time in history for a tournament at the new stadium.

Speaking about the game, George Lutalo, the Kitara FC coach, noted that the club is fully set to face and win against Mogadishu.

Captain Jasper Aheebwa called for maximum fan support during the game, assuring them of victory in the match.

Meanwhile, the Mogadishu team Coach, Adilnur Al, said they remain committed to playing and winning the match.

He, however, called for maximum cooperation from both teams ahead of and during the match.
