On the occasion of International Women’s Day, Jane Frances Acilo, the founder and director of Jane Acilo Foundation (JAF) joined the students of Atapara Secondary School during their celebrations.
Acilo engaged with girls’ students and encouraged them to remain in school and focus on their future aspirations.
As part of the JFA’s commitment to empowering the girl child, she encouraged the students to write down their personal visions and goals.
“Revisit them regularly, and celebrate both small and major achievements along their journey,” she advised.
On behalf of the foundation, she also donated basic school supplies, including books and pens, to support students’ learning needs.
“Supporting girls’ education remains a core pillar of our initiatives, and engagements such as these reinforce the importance of sustained mentorship, encouragement, and community support,” she emphasised.
The former NRM candidate for Oyam district woman MP seat, says committed to continuing her various development initiatives in the district.
