President Yoweri Kaguta Museveni will address his political rally at Oyam Boma Grounds in the town council on Tuesday October 7.
Museveni, an NRM presidential candidate for the 2026 elections, was in Apac and Kwania districts on October 4, where he addressed thousands and urged them to utilise the available funds and peace to improve their livelihoods.
Seeking to stay in power for another 5 years, President Museveni boasts of various interventions, programs and priorities his government has put in place.
These programs, he says, have transformed the country unlike in the past before NRM took over.
In 1986, Museveni took power after years of guerrilla war.
Ahead of his Oyam visits, the NRM district leadership are expecting at least 10,000 supporters donning the yellow colour to flood Boma Grounds.
Jane Frances Acilo, the NRM party flagbearer for Oyam District Woman MP, said: “On behalf of the people of Oyam District, we warmly welcome His Excellency, President Kaguta Museveni, to our district. Your presence will be a tremendous honour and a reflection of your dedication to the development and prosperity of our region.
“We are grateful for your leadership and look forward to continued collaboration in improving the lives of our citizens. May your visit be both fruitful and inspiring.”
