The Environmental Protection Authority (EPA) Ghana, in collaboration with the University of Ghana, Ghana Space Science and Technology Institute (GSSTI), Ghana Meteorological Agency, All Nations University, Spacehubs Africa, and Agbedus Consult, will host the “Maiden Ghana Space Conference 2025” from 6–8 October 2025 in Accra, Ghana.
The maiden Ghana Space Conference 2025 is a landmark event showcasing how space technology is driving sustainable development and inclusive growth in Ghana and across Africa.
The conference will be held at the Institute of Statistical, Social, and Economic Research (ISSER), University of Ghana, Accra, Ghana.
Government officials, international organizations, scientists, academics, entrepreneurs, private sector leaders, youth innovators, and global space experts will form part of the event.
Prosper Adiku, Project Manager, Ghana Space Conference said there will be keynote addresses by leading space entrepreneurs, scientists and policymakers.
There will be panel discussions on satellite technology, space policy and education, commercial space, and climate monitoring including exhibitions by startups and innovators in space science and technology.
The conference will also have youth and women engagement initiatives in STEM and space innovation, plus field visits to Ghana Radio Observatory (Kuntunse) and the Ghana Meteorological Agency headquarters.
