Blacks Power’s goalless draw on Easter Day is the second time in a row that they have dropped three points after Kigezi Home Bozy held them 1:1 the previous weekend.
One of Blacks Power’s missed opportunities was by Omara Joshua, who had several chances to score but failed to put the ball in the net.
He also kicked the ball wide and had a header cleared, which resulted in a corner.
Siu Michael made a connection with Maduka Innocent, who failed to score from close range just a yard from the box.
Maduka also missed heading the ball into the net during a corner kick.
Additionally, Blacks Power struggled to capitalize on set-piece opportunities such as free kicks and corner kicks.
Fitness Coach Patrick Ocan attributed the team’s lack of scoring to their inability to convert their chances, despite creating numerous opportunities throughout the game.
He acknowledged that the team needed to improve its scoring agility and promised to make changes beginning with their next home game against Onduparaka FC.
Lukyamuzi Skillz Micheal, head coach of Kiyinda Boys FC, was pleased with his team’s performance against the home team, who are currently leading the FUFA Big League table.
The head coach welcomed the one point and stated that it is not always easy to keep table leaders, adding that Blacks Power was a great team.
Back Power FC won the league’s previous match 1-0 over Kiyinda Boys FC.
Their next match will be at home against Onduparaka FC on May 11, 2025.
