On Sunday, Blacks Power FC, a Lira-based club, played a disappointing goalless draw against Booma FC at their new home ground, Uganda Technical College.
Booma FC is currently struggling, ranking second last in the Fufa Big League table.
Despite having a talented roster, Blacks Power FC has failed to capitalize on their home advantage.
Star Innocent Maduka (Oga) missed a penalty that would have sealed the victory for his team. Unfortunately, his shot hit the crossbar and was saved by the opposing goalkeeper.
The miss proved costly, as the game ended scoreless.
Nonetheless, Blacks Power FC leads the league table with 31 points, while Gaddafi FC has 30 points.

The team remains determined to secure promotion to the Uganda Premier League (UPL), with strong backing from their main sponsor Mount Meru Ltd.
As the team prepares for their next away match against Kataka FC, fans hope that they will finally break their two winless streaks (draws) and maintain their lead in the table.
However, only time will tell if Blacks Power FC can reverse their fortunes and begin winning again.
