As they set their sights on regional competitions, Acaba SS in Oyam district defeated Amwa Comprehensive 3-0 in the USSSA final.
Acaba SS, also known as Acaba Girls, demonstrated their prowess and determination in a thrilling semi-final match, defeating a formidable opponent, Atapara SS.
That game ended with a 1-0 victory. The semi-final match was a nail-biter, with both teams demonstrating exceptional talent and teamwork.
However, Acaba Girls’ superior strategy and execution eventually paid off, securing their spot in the finals.
The girls’ confidence has been boosted by their district championship victory, and they are now focused on the next challenge: winning the regional USSSA games.

The team’s coaches and trainers are also optimistic about their prospects, citing the girls’ dedication, teamwork, and improved skills as key factors in their regional success.
The girls are eager to face the best teams from other districts and demonstrate that they are a force to be reckoned with.
Other girl’s teams competed in the USSSA Oyam district, including those from Loro SS, Ngai SS, Arova SS, Iceme Girls, and Dr Oryang.
