Lira | The Federation of Uganda Football Association (FUFA) has a new logo.
CAF granted FUFA permission to use a special badge (logo) on Uganda Cranes match day shirts as part of the former’s celebrations to commemorate the local football governing body’s 100th anniversary.
Prior to this, FUFA submitted a formal request to the continental football organisation, CAF, for the new badge.
It was unveiled by FUFA President Magogo Moses Hassim at the 100th Ordinary General Assembly on October 4, 2024, at the Maya Nature Resort in Wakiso.
The logo will be placed on the front of the shirts, just above the player numbers.

According to FUFA Communications Director Ahmed Hussein, the players will wear the special edition jerseys throughout the TotalEnergies AFCON 2025 qualification campaign.
It will begin with a match against South Sudan on Friday, October 11, 2024.
