Koboko ready to host 18th GANAL provincial prayer peace week

Koboko Catholic Parish in West Nile sub-region was selected to host the GANAL provincial prayer peace week from January 20 to 24, 2025.

The entire province of GANAL, which includes the Dioceses of Gulu, Arua, Nebbi, and Lira (GANAL), will be represented at this massive event.

All four Bishops from the above dioceses are expected to attend the prayer peace week.

GANAL

His Grace John Baptist Odama, Archbishop (Emeritus) of Gulu Archdiocese, founded the GANAL Peace Prayer Week in 2005.

The mission has been to bring all of the province’s people together and ensure that they live in peace and harmony despite their cultural differences.

Since then, it has been observed annually on a rotating basis.

This year’s host, His Lordship the Rt. Rev. Sabino Ocan Odoki, Bishop of Arua Diocese, launched and blessed the preparations on Sunday, July 28, 2024, with Holy Mass at Koboko Catholic Church.

Tom Obeti Adraka, Chairperson of the Central Organizing Committee, informs the public about this massive event and encourages them to participate by contributing ideas and resources to ensure its success.
