Amolatar mother, 27, ‘hangs herself’ to death

Amolatar | In just two days, another woman, Adongo Judith, 27, has tragically “taken her own life.”

The deceased resided in Alec village, Adonyo Imoo parish, Opali sub-county, Amolatar.

Odongo Opali, Judith’s villagemate, discovered her lifeless body hanging from a mango tree.

Her death occurred not far from her residence. Following the incident, Opali notified Alec’s LC1 chairperson.

Odongo revealed that Judith, a widow, was living with one Ayo Kizito. “She may have been dealing with personal issues,” he said.

However, Ayo told this digital publication that they had no domestic issues.

They recently received funds from the Parish Development Model (PDM), which he stated they used to buy a cow. This cow was in the deceased’s care.

Adongo leaves behind four children.

While it is assumed that she committed suicide, police in Amolatar (North Kyoga Region) had yet to issue a statement regarding this tragic incident as of Friday afternoon.

Another woman, Hardoline Okwir, committed suicide by hanging on December 10, 2024, in Abeja sub-county, Amolatar.
