Namasale technical school sports teams head to Nakaseke

Amolatar | Moses Ogwal, the principal of Namasale Technical School in Amolatar district, said his school will represent the district at the national sports tournament.

The tournaments begin on May 1 and conclude on May 8 in Nakaseke district.

Ogwal mentioned football for boys and girls, netball for both boys and girls, athletics for both boys and girls, woodball for boys and girls, and cross country as games to compete in.

“We are ready to go and win,” he told tndNews on Friday.

Buku Solomon, the school’s team captain, stated that they are ready to perform and win. “The players are with team spirit to see that they put Amolatar on the map.”

Assistant captain Olodi Emmanuel stated that they are ready to perform and qualify for the East African Games.

He added that they are strong-hearted, saying, “We will win gold, medals, and trophies, just like last year.”

Omara Denis Mood, a player, stated that he is ready to perform, revealing that he is “fit and flexible” in handball.

Omara added that he is confident that they will return with many trophies.
