In Russia, Museveni tells Summit five factors that caused the defeat of imperialism

Russia | President Museveni is among the African heads of State currently in Russia for the Africa-Russia Summit 2023.

African leaders were invited by the President of Russia, Vladimir Putin to discuss, among others trade, security and cooperation.

For decades, Kampala and Moscow have had cordial ties in nearly all aspects, and Putin still values Museveni – a man heading towards his 4 decades of rule.

“Whilst delivering my speech to the plenary session in St. Petersburg this morning, I outlined the five factors that caused the defeat of imperialism and restored Africa’s sovereignty, to some extent.

“I also thank the Soviet people and other socialist countries, for their support,” said Museveni.
