Kampala I PEPFAR Uganda on Friday donated a brand new Toyota hilux double cabin to the Chieftaincy of Medical Services (CMS) of the Uganda Peoples’ Defence Forces.
On the same day, University Research Co., LLC (URC) also donated three Yamaha motorcycles to CMS. The donations were received by Brigadier General Patrick Ocen who represented the Chief of Medical Services, Major General Ambrose Musinguzi.
Brig Gen Ocen thanked the two partners for supporting the UPDF and said, “The donations will enhance the medical services offered by the UPDF to both its personnel and to the civilian communities.”
He added that the gesture will go a long way is cementing the relationship between the Chieftaincy of Medical Services and the two partners especially in their efforts to curb the spread of HIV/AIDS.

The Director of PEPFAR program, Makerere University Walter Reed Project, Dr Fred Magala thanked the army leadership for good relationship with PEPFAR.
Dr Magala promised to continue working with UPDF whenever they are called upon.
