Lira – February 28, 2022: Lira City Council Football Club (LCC FC) has been building momentum off the pitch since last playing competitive matches weeks ago in the Stanbic Uganda Cup.
The LeeAger boys kept on pushing with the coaching team and club administration in keeping the energy and building great momentum ahead of the next on pitch meetings.
Now, according to the club management, a friendly game with Agweng TC FC has been scheduled.
“The day has been decided, the battle is on, the vibes are good,” a statement from the club’s president reads.
“Agweng TC FC plans to avenge their humiliating defeat by Lira City Council FC. This battle has been scheduled for Sunday 6 March 2022 at Agweng TC FC,” the statement further adds.
“It is massive, it is real….we have secured a bus (preferably comfort bus).”
Comfort Bus is the club’s primary carrier after both entities signed a Memorandum of Understanding.
Transport to and fro is only shs10,000.00, including the entrance fee.
LeeAger fans are encouraged to buy a jersey that day at only shs55,000.00 or from the club’s headquarters, same building with Housing Finance bank, Lira City branch.
