Kampala – 31, August 2021: The Lira City East Division Member of Parliament, Jimmy James Akena is scheduled to address the media tomorrow (Wednesday) 1, September 2021.
Akena, who is also the Uganda People’s Congress (UPC) party President is expected to talk about party affairs, national issues and Zambia.
Atin kic lived in Zambia for years with his father, before returning to Uganda in 2005. The return was a sad one following the death of his father; Uganda’s two times President, Dr. Apollo Milton Obote.
Like Uganda, Zambia has been their other home, and sources say, Akena still has “Zambia at heart” for accepting to keep them for decades.
“The UPC President Hon. Jimmy Akena will address a press conference on matters of national importance tomorrow Wed 1st September 2021 at 11 AM at Party Headquarters Uganda House floor 6.” Muzey Faizo, UPC’s head of media and communications.
