Minister Grace Kwiyucwiny’s statement on primary elections

Zombo – 6, September 2020: Friends, l would like to thank you so much for your support during the concluded NRM primary elections. The votes didn’t add up for me.

However, i do not count this as a loss but a gain in Jesus’s name.

I read and I was called by many who were concerned about the rumors that I am in hospital as a result. I would like to let you know that I am fine and healthy at home.

On a lighter note, if election results were a disease, I would only wish you brought me some juice. I thank you all for your encouragement and love.

This experience has taken me to another chapter in my life where l can look back with satisfation that l have done my level best in the political leadership.

I remain who I am and what God has made me to be… a leader passionate for the people of Zombo and an advocate for development,  peace and unity.

I know all things work for the good of those whom God love. I am responsibly commited and will continue to do what His Excellency the President has mandated me to do.

I also remain committed to the NRM party under the leadership of His Excellency the President of the Republic of Uganda. I appeal to my supporters to remain calm, for in you is the energy that brought Zombo this far.

I congratulate you and say never give up the good in you.

I wish all the winners success in their endeavors.
