Covid-19: 7 new cases confirmed on Friday

National—11, July 2020: Results from Covid-19 tests done on Friday, 10 July 2020 confirmed seven new cases.

The cumulative total confirmed cases of Ugandans are now 1,013, the Ministry of Health has announced.

Of the new cases, two were t truck drivers from Malaba Point of Entry.

Five were alerts: Three from Amuru, two from Kasese and Tororo districts.

Twenty-five foreign truck drivers tested positive for Covid-19 at the border, and their entry was not permitted.

To-date, Uganda has a total recovery of 952 (these include both Ugandans and Foreigners).

Total samples tested today on Friday were 2,436.

On Thursday, six new cases were confirmed out of 2,048 samples tested same day. Details in the press release below.
