Uganda declares: 12 Stop Points for cargo trucks are illegal

Government has banned cargo trucks from stopping at previous stop points across the country with immediate effect.

The decisions were reached after the Ministry of Health has in recent days been confirming positive cases of COVID-19 from foreign truck drivers

Now, a meeting of the Trade and Transport National Task force sub-committee held on 24, April, 2020 in Kampala came out with 12 key resolutions.
