Kagadi – The People Power Movement launched nearly two years ago to ensure people regains their power from the current regime, is determined and strong – one of the mobilizers say.
Mr Akugizibwe Livingstone who coordinates Bunyoro sub-region told TND News that People Power is strong in Bunyoro.
His statement follows what he termed “propaganda” by some people who are calling them “spies”.
“We shall not be intimidated by propaganda that some of the People Power coordinators are spies. This is not true at all, it’s aimed at dividing and playing divide and rule methodology. We aren’t intimidated by such,” Akugizibwe who’s a district councillor in Kagadi on NRM ticket, says.
“I call upon all the coordinators at different levels in Bunyoro to continue preaching the gospel of People Power. This regime is so scared to an extent that Bobi Wine can’t be allowed to express himself freely. They are ready to do anything to bring us down but we are determined. I encourage all the coordinators from Bunyoro not to be moved by such rumors,” he urged his comrades.

About Bosmic Otim who was appointed by Bobi Wine to manage and coordinate Acholi sub-region but later defected to NRM party, he says there are many people who hides in opposition.
“We have people who hide in the names of being opposition for them to be bought off, people who are ready for the struggle can’t be compromised like the Bosmic and the group. We might be poor physically but rich at heart,” he added.
According to People Power’s Akugizibwe, “No amount of bribery can move me.” Adding, “When a single individual is bribed, it doesn’t necessarily mean the conditions of the people has improved. The struggle is to make President Museveni off. The enemies of change shall always be known and isolated immediately.”
“In a nutshell, the likes of Bosmic, Ronald Mayinja, Catherine Kusasira, Bebe Cool are commodities ready to be hawked by anyone,” the youthful politician avers.
