Obbo Charles – the Lajwatek village LC1 chairperson in Pageya parish, Koro sub-county in Omoro district and his daughter, Winnie Acayo have been arrested on allegation of causing the death of one Patrick Kinyera, 50.
Jimmy Patick Okema, the Aswa region police spokesman said Kinyera died as a result of fight with the suspects over unclear reason.
Okema also said team of police detectives and scene of crime officer intervened.
Okema added the body was taken to Gulu Regional referral hospital mortuary pending postmortem.
Both suspects, Obbo and Acayo are still under police custody at Gulu central police station.
They have been charged with murder vide CRB 07/28/10/2019.
