OMORO Police in Omoro District have recovered the body of a suspected murderer who reportedly murdered his wife on June 3 this year.
According to police, a man only identified as Abola is suspected to have murdered his wife Lucy Acan from Pece vanguard in Pece division in Gulu municipality.
Aswa region police spokesperson Patrick Jimmy Okema says his cousin Stephen Acire from Ayom Lony village Jaka Parish Lalogi discovered Abola at Ayom Lony village, Jaka Parish Lalogi Sub County in Omoro on Wednesday.
Okema observes that, it’s believed that Abola might have committed suicide a week ago since the body was already decomposing.
Okema notes that the remains of Abola have been taken to Gulu Regional Referral Hospital for postmortem.
