The national electoral commission (EC) has said the nomination of candidates will be conducted on February 9 and 10, 2023 at the District Returning Office, Serere.
The UPC party leader was addressing the media, delivering his end of year message to Ugandans.
“Okabe has died at a time when we needed him most! Condolences to the family. Rest in Peace brother,” said Deputy Speaker, Tayebwa.
Christine Okabe died on transportation to Mbale regional referral hospital for better management.
